In recent years, Converse's music tradition has changed and risen as they spotted the potential of young superstars around the world. Since then, Converse and music have been inseparable!

The Converse CREATE NEXT campaign introduces you to new superstars whose careers are just about to or have already taken off!

In our third blog post, we are going to talk about an artist from the happiest country in the whole world - Senya from Finland!

Do not worry if you do not know who she is, but know that you are genuinely sleeping on him. Besides his cool music, she´s an avid Converse fan and reps their clothing line everywhere she can.

Could you tell us a little bit about yourself and your music?

I am a 21-year-old R&B and rap artist from Finland. I make music that looks just like me and as an artist that’s the most important thing for me. My music is about confidence, honesty, and about great quality.

What inspires you in life and what inspires your music/lyrics?

The thing that inspires me musically is basically everything I go through in life on a daily basis. I usually write songs about my feelings and personal experiments (friendships, relationships, and life itself).

Do you have a favorite Converse model? If so, why? Maybe you have a story about your first Converses or a cool Converse experience.

My favorite model of Converses is definitely platforms! When I was little, I had a bad habit of stealing my big sister's sneakers, which were 3 sizes too big for me. They were just so cool and made me feel like I'm the most stylish person in the world. They were black and totally worn out, but I just had to wear them!
