The holiday season can only mean one thing for sneakerheads. NEW 11s. During the holidays of 2021, Jordan Brand carefully decided to scour into the depths of their archives, and it turns out that last year we were all good, because why else did they decide to release one of the freshest Jordan sneakers of all time. For the first time since 2010, Cool Gray 11s dropped this holiday season. It is arguably one of the most popular 11s out of the original colorways - a clean and simple design in bright gray. It was first seen in 2001 and introduced a new OG color combo to the Jordan line. The following year, the Air Jordan 9 received a similar gray finish. Jordan 3 and 4 came after in 2004 and 2006. However, the Air Jordan 11 has been retrod only once since its initial release, in 2010.

TheCool Gray 11 replaces the ballistic net for strong nubuck skin and is the first retro colorway to have a standard ice blue sole (which looks good but helps with premature yellowing). It is associated with this classic patent leather strip, which is a dark gray shade and carries a crisp white cord. Of course, no Jordan silhouette would be complete without the MJ Jumpman logo, which is finely placed on the heel of this sneaker. Gray patent leather, white sole and blue sole, simple, timeless and cool. Ideal combo. The holidays are long gone, but better late than never.
